Join our membership leaders to discuss regional benefits and concerns. Learn what is going on in your region. Attendance is free and open to everyone regardless of membership status.


You’re invited

These meeting are a great chance to meet local colleagues and discuss local concerns, as well as, the performing arts industry as it relates to your region, the state, and the industry in general. Membership is not required and attendance is free.

Here are the meetings set for April 2018 with more being considered for the summer and visits to Pittsburgh and Blue Bell being set for the fall.

Tuesday, April 24 • 5:15-6:45 p.m.

Wilke-Barre

Frederick Stegmaier Mansion, 304 S. Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702

  • Parking: Directly across the street in the Child Services Center parking lot. Travel note: S. Franklin Street is a one way. Parking will be to the left just before you reach the mansion. The Frederick Stegmaier Mansion is on the corner of S. Franklin and Ross Streets to the right.
  • Host: Jennifer Morris, Siegel Artist Management and PA Presenters Board Member
  • Included will be wine, cheese, coffee, and tea. After the meeting, may we suggest you try one of a variety of restaurants in downtown Wilkes-Barre.

Bloomsburg

Bloomsburg University, K.S. Gross Auditorium in Carver Hall, 400 East Second Street, Bloomsburg, PA

  • Carver Hall is the iconic ‘clock tower’ campus building and is located at the top of Bloomsburg’s Main Street. The K.S. Gross Auditorium occupies the entire second floor of Carver Hall. It was recently renovated and is listed with the League of Historic American Theatres.

  • Parking is available in the tri-level parking structure adjacent to Carver Hall. Parking is FREE, however, you must come into Carver Hall and get a day pass from the receptionist in the lobby of Carver and place the pass on your rear view mirror, so please plan to arrive early.
  • Bloomsburg’s Celebrity Artist Series will provide light morning refreshments and beverages.  Additionally, there is a campus Starbucks 500 feet away from the hall. If you able to stay after the meeting, you are invited top tour the two performance facilities on campus including PASSHE’s largest fixed seat auditorium, Haas Center for the Arts.

York

Appell Center for the Performing Arts, Board Room, Strand-Capitol Theatres, 50 North George Street (enter at the Box Office on George Street)

  • Paid parking is available in a public ramp at 25 West Philadelphia Street in the West Philadelphia Street Garage, https://goo.gl/maps/vxHjEKiGaiu
  • Your hosts: Todd Fogdall, President and CEO of the Appell Center and PA Presenters Board member will be joined by Larry Kosson, Founder/President of Kosson Talent and PA Presenters’ Vice President

Monday, April 30 • 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Butler

Butler County Community College, Succop Theater, Board Room (adjacent to the Succop Theatre)

  • For free parking, a parking pass will be emailed in advance to each person planning to attend (classes are in session). If there is not enough time for one to be emailed, please check in at the Succop Theater, and a pass will issued. A map is located on their webpage.
  • Sweet refreshments will be served and Larry is inviting you to stay after the meeting for a tour of the facility if you are able.
