We are both delighted and disappointed to announce that Laura Kendall, Director of the Ware Center and Office of Visual and Performing Arts, Millersville University is leaving her position. Laura has accepted the role of Vice President of Programming and Education at Omaha Performing Arts
. Her last day at the Ware Center is February 10
. She and her husband Jeremy are thrilled to return to their home state of Nebraska in pursuit of this exciting new chapter in their lives.
“It is bittersweet for us,” Laura said. “Lancaster has been a welcoming and wonderful home for us the past five years. We love this community and look forward to coming back for visits often.”
At Omaha Performing Arts, Laura will oversee programming in the premier venues of Nebraska, the celebrated Orpheum Theatre which dates back to 1927 and the modern state-of-the-art Holland Center. With the seating capacity of both venues at over 5,000, we are excited for Laura in her bold new adventure.

With great pleasure, we announce Robin D. Zaremski as the new Interim Director of Visual and Performing Arts at Millersville University starting on February 13, 2017.
Robin has a Bachelor of Arts from West Chester University, a Certificate in Recording Arts & Sciences from UCLA, and Juris Doctorate from Temple University. Robin has been working in the music business since the early 1990s, first working at the Screen Actor’s Guild as their Singers Rep, and then for Almo Sounds/Rodor Music – the record company and music publisher owned by Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss of A & M. She became the Director of Programming for Musikfest (what is now ArtsQuest) booking artists for both the festival and the main stage and performing all of the stage management and production functions. She then went to work at Universal Music in New York in Business Affairs; then began teaching Music Business at Albright College. She taught over eleven unique music business courses including Entertainment Law, Marketing, Personal Management, and Accounting for the Music Industry. She returned to ArtsQuest to help open Steelstacks and then went to Kutztown University to be Director of KU Presents! where she oversees the programming, budgeting, staffing and overall management of the Performing Arts Series.
After having served on the board for PA Presenters, Robin was recently voted as President of the organization. She is a member of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals and is well known and respected by her peers in the field. In addition, she plans on teaching a course for the Music Department this semester.
