We are both delighted and disappointed to announce that Laura Kendall, Director of the Ware Center and Office of Visual and Performing Arts, Millersville University is leaving her position. Laura has accepted the role of Vice President of Programming and Education at Omaha Performing Arts . Her last day at the Ware Center is February 10. She and her husband Jeremy are thrilled to return to their home state of Nebraska in pursuit of this exciting new chapter in their lives.
“It is bittersweet for us,” Laura said. “Lancaster has been a welcoming and wonderful home for us the past five years. We love this community and look forward to coming back for visits often.”
At Omaha Performing Arts, Laura will oversee programming in the premier venues of Nebraska, the celebrated Orpheum Theatre which dates back to 1927 and the modern state-of-the-art Holland Center. With the seating capacity of both venues at over 5,000, we are excited for Laura in her bold new adventure.
