Spring 2011 Conference Location Announced!

The 2011 Spring Arts Conference will be held at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. The college is providing us with budget conscious pricing, centrally located meeting and showcase space within a 25 second walk from the guest rooms, and many meeting options to suit our needs. Dates will be announced shortly.

For those of you who are worried about the travel costs to the far corner of the state, The room rates provided by the college are between $30 and $50, which balances out any additional airfare, fuel or train costs that may be incurred. We will also be looking into "road trip" car pools to give additional networking time before and after the conference.

Mercyhurst College will offer $30 per room in the New Warde Res. Hall - there's 150 rooms. No need to double up unless desired. The distance from the performing venue to the Residence Hall is about 25 second walk just across the parking lot.

For those who want to share an apartment - the college has agreed to rent the Wayne Street Apts. (#40 on the Legend) at $50 per unit and there are two rooms and about a 5 minute walk to the PAC. There are a total of 36 units.

The college has also agreed to rent the Warde Townhouses at the same rate (# 19 on the Legend). There are three rooms to these apts. There are a total of 8 units.
